We are an interdisciplinary research group based at the Institute of Natural Sciences, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Our research focuses on theoretical and computational neuroscience, with the goal of uncovering fundamental principles of information processing in biological neural systems.

We combine methods from dynamical systems, statistical physics, information theory, and machine learning, and work closely with experimental collaborators. By integrating theory, computation, and data, we aim to understand how neural circuits efficiently represent, transform, and utilize information.
