Liwei Liu is an undergraduate student majoring in Mathematics at Nanjing University. He joined our group in 2026 and is currently exploring topics in computational neuroscience and nonequilibrium statistical physics. His academic interests include the application of statistical field theory, stochastic (thermo)dynamics in neuroscience and their connection to information processing in biological systems. Also, he is interested in algebraic topology. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing the guitar and playing basketball.
